Styling a White Leather Skirt

Monday, August 01, 2016

In Australia, we are slowly but surely seeing signs of the winter weather departing and I for one am glad! But before we bit adieu to the cooler climate, I thought I'd share my go-to separates for the season. This winter saw me in and out of several midi skirts and turtle necks and this look is a combination of two of my favorite pieces. This Zara leather skirt landed in my wardrobe from the Hong Kong airport in a bid to get rid of my spare Hong Kong dollars. I like that the skirt is white leather (vegan of course) as opposed to the more traditional black because coupled with the cream piping of my sweater, this look exudes a softness I sometimes miss among the crisp cuts of winter wear.  With all the neutral tones, I decided to opt for my staple ox-blood flats featured here and here to make the look pop a little.

What has been your staple outfit this winter?
